The BIG WIN...

Penn State seemed to be playing very conservative threw out the whole game, not trying to make any mistakes. Trying not to give up the big play, trying not to throw the big interception, just staying clear of any risk. The defense played great, they really showed how they can stop a powerful running back and make the young QB do all the work. Penn State had zero penalties and zero turnovers. They may have played a little so conservative but it worked out because the defense came up big and made the play that changed the game, a sack which led to a fumble and Penn State ball in great field position. This led to a Penn State touchdown and the only touchdown of the game. This gave them the lead and well it gave them the game as they stood strong and shut down this Ohio State offense with a late interception to end the game in Columbus, Ohio. A game which many had said could not be won by Penn State and would be the game to knock them out of the TOP 10. I guess they where wrong, I may have been a little off on my score prediction but I was not wrong on the winner. Penn State stays undefeated with a 9-0 record 5-0 in the Big Ten. After this big win Penn State has a bye week and then after that lets hope they don't layup and give away there perfect season. Penn State VS. Ohio State .. Score- 13-6 Ugly but a win is a win and Penn State stays unbeaten and Ohio take there second loss of the season no Big Ten title for Ohio this year. This take all the hopes Ohio had for making a push for a National title and a Big Ten title, better luck next year.

PENN STATE VS. OHIO STATE

Ohio State feels they have proved something last weekend when they blew out a Michigan State team that really was not that impressive at all. They did play a strong game and only gave up 7 points, they have a lot of talent on both sides of the ball and seem to be hitting a nice stride midway threw the season. With only one lose on the season they are #9 in the nation but i have a feeling, lose number two is about to hit them and hit them hard. The Penn State Nittany Lions are also talented on both sides of the ball but seem to be much more of a unit. They win games in all types of ways, whether its the special teams defense and best of all the explosive offense. They have it all and this makes them so very dangerous football team.
One big questions is can they beat Ohio in Ohio?. A Saturday night showdown in the BIG TEN. Prime time game in Ohio, if its one thing Penn State was lacking coming into this season was them winning on the road, and this is a real road game. A lot of pressure and well I feel Penn State will step up and take the crowed out of the game and come out with a strong victory against this very good football team. I will not take anything away from Ohio because they are a very good team but Penn State is better and will leave Ohio #2 if not #1 in the nation and along with a 9-0 record 5-0 in the BIG TEN.  My predictions on the day 27-17 Penn State .... Maurice Evans Hmm lets see 3 sacks 6 tackles. 8pm Saturday. ABC network

PenN State#3 in nation... Beat Michigan In a laugher?

Before the ball was kicked off the world of college football thought that the #3 Penn State Nittany Lions would steam rool over the this Michigan team who has a lot of problems thus far this season. This was not the case in the first half as the Penn State offense  came out flat and the defense looked like they would be over powered all night. They just looked like a team that was due for a big upset. At the end of the half the score was 17 to 14 for the Michigan faithful. Beaver stadium was stunned in a state of shock I would believe knowing the last time they beat Michigan all they could think about is "NOT AGAIN".
When the second half began there may have been a lot of nervous fans in beaver stadium, then a play that may have changed the game happened when rushers Maurice Evans and Odrick put enough pressure, for Odrick to sack the Qb and force a saftey. This changed the momentum and the game dramatically, as Penn State scored 32 unanswered points in the second half. Some changes where made on defense and the offense just woke up, if there an doubt that Penn State is the real deal then your just still living in lala land and its time to come back to earth. It was the tightest blow out I have ever seen, after the first half you just couldn't feel safe, but the score shows how much better Penn State is as the final score was and is 46 to 17.

the Wisconsin win

Penn State thought they where going on a long trip to play a challenging game against Wisconsin. That just was not the case Penn State walked in and kicked Wisconsin right in the face, the game was over 7 minutes into the second half. Penn State took the air out of the crowd and put the Wisconsin team in there place showing them that they where playing not only the best team in the Big Ten but also the # 6 team in the nation. The Penn State defense just shut down the powerful Wisconsin running game with the outstanding rushing ability of the DE's and the pain the DT's made them feel all game. Then on the offensive side Penn State just controlled the ball running and throwing like a video game, D. Clark just punished the Wisconsin defense every time he got near the end zone. This was a statement on national television, the world may not be ready for what Penn State had to bring to the table, there is so many haters that just don't know how good this team really is. With hunting season open for Wolverine next week and then Ohio State the next week this may just be the time the nation takes Penn State seriously.  Standing at 7-0 after a blow out like this against what some had said is the toughest team Penn would play thus far, a team that just took Ohio State to the wire. Hmmmmm lets see over rated HELL NO only thing over rated is everyone who steps on the field not wearing the WHITE and BLUE....

going for 7-0

Penn State will be on the road playing its second Big Ten game in a row, being number 6 in the nation they have a big bulls eye on there back. Wisconsin has dropped in ranking after there lose to Ohio State last week and now stand at #24 in the nation and trying to make a push for a Big Ten title and they need to beat a red hot Penn State team making a push for a national title. After watching Wisconsin last week i feel Penn State is the best team in the Big Ten on both sides of the ball. With the linebacking core and D line on the defensive side and the running backs and Wide outs along with a really good quarter back who can run and throw, they are very dangerous because of the many different ways they can beat you. Wisconsin is gonna be one of the strongest teams they have been up against thus far, not only because they are good but conference teams always play you tough, but they are also top 25 in the nation and the Big Ten is a strong conference to begin with. Wisconsin comes in with a powerful offense and a very tough running game one but the Penn State nittany Lions plain to slow them down with a big game from the DE Maurice Evans and Josh Gaines. I feel this will be a tough win but the Nittany Lions will cruse to a victory come late in the game. In the hunt for a National Title PENN STATE........

penn state

Last Saturday Penn State improved to 6-0  after the win at Purdue, they controlled the game with the running game and even on the defensive side of the ball. The score was lower then i thought it was going to be but the defense shut down Purdue's spread offense and kept them scoreless till the fourth quarter. It was a tough conference win on the road and the Nittny Lions grounded it out and got the "W". With this win they will not move down in the ranking but they arent going to move up neither. No top 5 team lost so Penn State will stay ranked as #6 in the nation. As for Maurice Evans he had a slow day on the field with limited reps, he ended the game with two tackles and nothing els on the day. We all hope he can jump start his season with some big time games coming up on the road because the Penn State defensive line and team is going to need him to step up in the big games. Besides Mo the team as a whole has to prove to beat good teams on the road which had been there problem, when thay play at home you can almost chalk in a win every time. Beaver stadium is a mad house and on white out days the other team stands no chance. Its top 5 hardest place to play in college football and everyone will agree the fans are crazy. So good luck when you come to Beaver stadium. Lets hope Penn State can keep the winning going on the road as well as in Beaver stadium.

THE BOONDOCKS and AFRO samurai

The Boondocks is a new show that i just found out about, I have not seen one episode yet but its only on its second season. I wanna go buy it knowing that there is many famous people getting involved with the voices. Usher makes a guest showing along with Katt Williams. Its a hilarious comedy , about 2 kids and there grand father , there grandfather moves them out of the south side of Chicago to the quiet and safety of the boondocks. Along with this show that will soon be my favorite, Afro Samurai is my favorite anime show of all time, put together by Samuel L. Jackson. It cost over 1 million dollars an episode so they only made a few Episodes. The New York Time says it is "EXCELLENT" and IGN.com say its "Kicks ASS". Its an epic tale of a black samurai's hunt for justice on the owner of the #1 head band, whom which also killed his father. Its a blend of japanese culture and the new era of hip hop and new technology. Its an exciting show and always has you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next.

Penn STAte #6 in NAtion

After being bashed week by week by critics that they have not played anyone yet. That they have played cup cake after cup cake, but what happens when a team they blow out beats the #1 team in the nation USC? Penn state had there first major challenge with #22 Illinois coming to town, and what happened Penn State over comes the out standing play of illinois Offense and pounds them for a great victory. On the defensive side Maurice Evans  played his first game back from suspension and even with limited playing time had a sack against the big offensive line of Illinois. He seemed to be in shape even though the three weeks off and should be back to full playing time next week when they face Purdue on the road. Purdue lost to a weak fighting Irish team last week and does not look very strong. So at 12pm the game will be on ESPN and you can watch Maurice Evans and the Nittany Lions move forward in the winning season. Maurice #48 DE...!!! PENN STATE #6 and moving up fast.
